With all the latest technology and utterly charming staff, it’s the perfect pied-a-terre however long you're planning to spend in the city. Occupying the former offices of Ogilvy and Mather advertising agency, the already funky spaces have been further transformed by hip, young, award-winning architects Autoban to create a boutique hotel that is – in a word – unique. Decorated throughout with modernist-inspired furniture and an eye-catching, elegant floral motif, the spaces combine futuristic chic with the very best of today's luxuries to create an environment at once inspiring, enveloping and indulgent. All of the suites are generously sized, with large living areas. Ideal for short and long stays, each has a kitchenette decorated in Carrera marble with microwave, fridge and Nespresso machine. The stylish beds with curved headboards and the desks have been specially designed by Autoban, while even sheets and towels have been exclusively commissioned. All rooms have a flat-screen television with cable channels, as well as an excellent collection of DVDs and an iPod dock. The highlight of each suite, however, is the bathroom, fitted with ergonomic corian sinks with pebble-shaped handles and a cluster of shower-heads to create a cocoon of misty hot water – all from the ultra-cool Ross Lovegrove Istanbul collection for Vitra. And in the hip Roka Brasserie, you can savour a variety of superb international dishes, as well as hot chocolate from New York's Maribelle.
